EMANAIRE is coordinated by BI Norwegian Business School. This page explains the information used by this website and where to find BI’s policy for personal data handled by the institution.
Browsing this website
This is an information website. It has no applicant accounts, application forms, newsletter sign-up or embedded social-media feeds. Its code contains no advertising or analytics trackers, and its fonts and images are served with the website.
To deliver the pages, your browser sends technical information, including an IP address and the requested page, to the hosting service. The service may keep operational or security logs. For questions about hosting-related personal data, contact the network coordinator, who can direct your request to the appropriate operator.
Your accessibility preferences
If you use the Accessibility controls, your choices are saved in your browser’s local storage on that device. The preferences contain only the selected display settings and are not submitted to EMANAIRE. Use ‘Reset preferences’ in the controls, or clear this website’s browser data, to remove them. The website code does not set cookies.
Contacting BI and the network
When you email the coordinator, your contact details and message are used to respond to your enquiry. BI Norwegian Business School is responsible for personal data collected and processed at BI. Its institutional privacy policy explains the applicable purposes, lawful bases, recipients and retention rules. The legal basis depends on the activity; BI identifies legitimate interests as a basis for following up enquiries.
BI retains information for as long as needed for the relevant purpose or to meet legal obligations. Its institutional retention rules should not be taken as the retention period for this separate website’s hosting logs.
Applications and external websites
All applications go through the recruiting university’s official procedure. The EMANAIRE website does not receive or store application documents. The relevant university’s privacy notice applies to its recruitment process.
Links to universities, EURAXESS and LinkedIn take you to external websites, which have their own privacy and cookie policies. Those services are not embedded in this website.
Your rights and privacy contacts
Subject to applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure or restriction of personal data, object to processing, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. BI’s policy explains these rights and how to exercise them.
For personal data handled by BI, contact info@bi.no. You can also contact BI’s Data Protection Officer at personvernombud@bi.no. You have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
