Ella Hafermalz is associate professor at KIN, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She studies work and technology from a practice perspective. Ella’s recent research investigates how GenAI use influences both the local practices and the institutional context of education and knowledge work, and how people are responding to these changes. Her research is published in Information Systems and Organisation Studies journals.
